SAPPO Academy is an organisation that focuses on pig production training. The academy mandate is to promote animal, environmental and public health in the pig industry by influencing the behavior of people through knowledge transfer. The training is aimed at aspiring pig farmers,  developing pig farmers, smallholder pig farmers, university students, government, and non-government officials, and any other person interested in pig farming.

SAPPO Academy’s model is to establish a network of partners in rural and peri-urban areas. Through a collective effort of stakeholders, we collaborate with influencers in the value chain, pro-actively shaping perspectives to grow the pork industry.
